We own 45% of the the Resolution Copper Project, which is operated by Rio Tinto (55%).Resolution Copper is one of the largest undeveloped copper projects in the world and has the potential to become the largest copper producer in North America. The Resolution Copper Project is located in the Copper triangle, 60 miles east of Phoenix, Arizona in the United States.

Copper is used in everyday household products due to its electricity conducting, corrosion resistance and antimicrobial properties.
Mine plan of operations
In 2013, Resolution Copper filed a Mine Plan of Operations with the U.S. Forest Service, outlines detailed plans to design, construct and operate a world-class mine and create sustainable benefits for the community. The project is subject to regulatory approvals, further studies, including a detailed feasibility study, and consultation, as well as investment decisions.
