After careful consideration of the COVID-19 risk profile, the information received through consultation with our workforce, and the latest scientific, medical and safety data, we have determined that the vaccination requirements at our workplaces in Australia are no longer necessary and will be removed from 1 March 2023.

This means that from 1 March 2023, all employees, contractors and visitors will no longer need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter BHP’s Australian workplaces.

Throughout the pandemic, our COVID-19 health and safety measures have been based on thorough assessments of scientific evidence and health advice, and we will continue to review and adapt our controls, always with a focus on keeping our people and communities safe.
