    Notice of Dividend Currency Exchange Rates - 2021 Interim Dividend

    On 16 February 2021, the Board of BHP determined to pay an interim dividend of 101 US cents per share for the half year ended 31 December 2020. As noted in the dividend determination on 16 February 2021 the currency conversion for Australian cents, British pence and New Zealand cents will be based on the foreign currency exchange rates on the Dividend Reinvestment Plan Election date, 8 March 2021, and for South African cents one week before the Record Date on the JSE Limited, which was 26 February 2021.

    BNTAC and BHP joint statement: Mining Area C rock fall

    BHP and the Banjima Native Title Aboriginal Corporation (BNTAC), the prescribed body corporate for the Banjima People, have commenced a joint investigation to understand the cause of the rock fall and ensure any lessons are identified. BHP has also agreed to suspend all nearby mining activity.

    Caval Ridge crowd-sources innovative solution to maintenance safety challenge

    Maintainers at BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) Caval Ridge Mine wash plant will no longer be exposed to rotating machinery during filter press repairs thanks to a new solution developed through BHP’s Supplier Innovation Program. In January, Australian-owned Jord International was awarded a contract to work hand-in-hand with the maintenance team at Caval Ridge to pilot their solution.
