The Australian state of Victoria has been devastated in recent days by the worst bushfires in its history. Tragically, more than 170 lives have been lost, hundreds of homes destroyed and thousands of people left homeless.

This week, BHP Billiton committed A$500,000 to the Victorian Bushfire Relief Appeal. We will also match all personal donations through our employee Matched Giving Program.
