Experience

Brandon Craig is President of BHP Americas since March 1st, 2024. Previously he was the Asset President for BHP’s Iron Ore business in Western Australia.
Brandon joined Western Australia Iron Ore in 2020 and successfully led the BHP Iron Ore asset through the COVID-19 impacts, with the business achieving record production and results. 

Brandon Craig’s expertise with BHP extends more than 20 years, holding various senior leadership roles spanning the fields of maintenance, marketing, human resources and operations management, including the role of Asset President of NSW Energy Coal in 2015.

Most recently, Brandon held the role of Vice President of BHP’s Maintenance and Engineering Centre of Excellence. He also streamlined planning and performance systems for the frontline and built teams that strengthened and diversified BHP’s capability. 

Brandon Craig holds a Masters Degree in Business Leadership and a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from University of Natal.
