Warriors working behind the scenes
You might have seen Mt Arthur Coal’s latest community newsletter earlier this month, but did you know they have an amazing local vendor helping them behind the scenes to make this all happen?
Once the newsletters are printed, Warrior Disability Services stuff and label the envelopes and post the newsletters sent to the Mt Arthur Coal employees.
They also personally distribute the community newsletter to businesses around Muswellbrook, Singleton and Scone.
Warrior Disability Services Director of Participant Services, Sally Pereira, said the money earned through this work goes to programs, activities and holidays that Warrior Disability Services’ clients choose.
“Last year our clients saved up the money they earnt and bought rugby jumpers with their names on the back,” Sarah said.
“The year before they bought a 5 day UP&UP workshop,” she said.
“It’s a great opportunity for the team to earn money and save up for a shared goal,” she said.
As they say, ‘many hands make light work’, and the Mt Arthur Coal team are grateful to have Warrior Disability Services helping its newsletters reach their destination.
