Strengthening connections with our contracting partners

Early this year, Mt Arthur Coal (MAC) held its bi-annual Contractor Forum, bringing together a cross section of more than 80 representatives from across its contracting partners.

This Forum provides a valuable opportunity to connect with contracting partners on safety and closure related topics. MAC was able to share relevant safety information including learnings from safety events and updates to health and safety systems.

Contracting partners are an important stakeholder in MAC’s successful transition to closure, and this Forum provided an avenue to discuss transition updates and encourage forward planning and preparation for closure impacts.

Contracting partners are invited to submit questions ahead of time to ensure they are addressed on the day. This bi-annual forum is an effective way for our contracting partners to hear the latest, ask questions, and engage on the issues that matter most to their people, teams and businesses.
