Ember Connect’s Game Changer Grants program is continuing to create meaningful outcomes across Australian communities!

Since partnering with BHP and expanding the program, Ember Connect has awarded over $50,000 to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women across the areas of education, business, professional development and community initiatives.

The partnership is helping to deliver powerful results through targeted, community-led investment. After completing an impact survey of the recipients to date, the Ember Connect team have seen:

• 100% of respondents reporting the grant had either helped them ‘a lot’ or was ‘transformational’ for them 
• Strong outcomes in education completion, career progression and business development
• Increased confidence highlighted as the top area of growth
• Most recipients achieving or making significant progress towards their goals.

It’s a fantastic example of how support through partnerships is a powerful tool in unlocking confidence and opportunity, supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Woman to realise their ambitions, and creating long-term impact within communities.

Applications for the next round of Ember Connect Game Changer Grants are now open, and are aimed at supporting the professional development of those who are employed, self-employed or between roles.
