Kirsty Liddicoat wins national CEW scholarship

Kirsty Liddicoat, Mt Arthur Coal's Manager Coal Production, was awarded a national scholarship offered through Chief Executive Women (CEW).

Each year, CEW offers just two scholarships to undertake the Leading for Results program at the renowned INSEAD business school in Singapore. The course is designed to equip managers with the crucial skills for leading people in a globalised business environment.

Kirsty said she was inspired to apply after seeing an opportunity to develop her own leadership skills and bring the learnings back to her teams.

"I could see that the course was designed to help create a compelling vision, provide feedback and coaching, and help give us the skills to manage periods of change, conflict or crisis," Kirsty said.

"These skills will serve me well in the modern workplace as we navigate technology and market changes, shifting demographics in our workforce and the specific challenges the mining industry faces. I am especially interested in helping my team navigate this environment and setting us up for continued and sustainable success," Kirsty said.

"I'm excited to gain more knowledge and have the ability to share learnings with my peers to extend the benefits more broadly across the business."

Congratulations Kirsty!
