Meet Yuki Ghantous, BHP’s new Country President for Japan. After more than 15 years abroad, Yuki is returning home to lead our Japan office and work alongside our long-standing customers and suppliers in the country.

Since joining BHP in 2018, Yuki has been a part of our Marketing team and served in a number of senior positions. Before this, she worked in a number of Corporate Strategy and Commercial roles in the resources industry as well as a Market Manager for Japan, Korea and South East Asia. 

“BHP’s partnership with Japan dates back more than 50 years – a testament to the strong relationships we have with our customers and recognition of how important the commodities that BHP provides are to power progress,” Yuki said.

“Japan is a very important market for BHP and our industry more broadly and I feel privileged to be able to work with our team and customers to enhance our strategic partnerships,” Yuki continued.
