Further to BHP’s announcement on 25 October 2024, BHP confirms that the agreement entered into between the Federal Government of Brazil, State of Minas Gerais, State of Espirito Santo, public prosecutors and public defenders (Public Authorities) and Samarco Mineração S.A. (Samarco), BHP Billiton Brasil Ltda.

BHP is proud to announce a new five-year partnership with the West Australian Aboriginal Leadership Institute (WAALI), valued at $1.875 million. This significant investment will enable WAALI to expand its leadership education for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across Western Australia, focusing on empowering the next generation of leaders.
