Greener pastures ahead for Boulder Bowling Club
The WA Nickel Community Fund continues to deliver, with the Boulder Bowling Club recently celebrating their successful application for funding to replace their grass bowling greens with modern, all-weather synthetic surfaces.
The club received funding to upgrade the greens to enable sustainable, year-round activity, supporting ongoing social connection, physical activity, and community wellbeing.
The upgrade will significantly reduce maintenance costs and water usage while increasing accessibility for all age groups – from retirees to students – helping ensure the longevity of the club.
Vice President WA Nickel Annabelle Blom said it was exciting to see the club benefit from the WA Nickel Community Fund and contribute to the long-term liveability of the community.
“It’s fantastic to see a long-standing community institution like the Boulder Bowling Club benefit from the WA Nickel Community Fund, supporting its success well into the future.”
