Welcoming students on site
On Friday 18 June, Mt Arthur Coal welcomed more than 40 students from Denman Public School onto site. The students toured the pit and workshop facilities learning more about mining operations, safety and rehabilitation.
These sessions help the next generation learn more about the mining industry and its contribution to the community.
If the sheer size of the site and equipment wasn’t already enough to make this the best school excursion ever, then the pizza lunch sealed the deal.
