Team Jansen MOves MOvember MOuntains in Canada

Congratulations to Team Jansen in Canada for smashing its 2023 MOvember goals! The group, made up of our Potash workforce and their supporters in Saskatchewan, led the charge across BHP, generating nearly a quarter of BHP’s total MOvember funds.

The team raised more than C$100,000 in support of men’s health, surpassing its original goal of C$80,000. That’s up over C$30,000 from last year and makes Team Jansen the 12th largest MOvember team in the world. However, Team Jansen didn’t just stop there!

One of the team’s MOvember challenges was to collectively move 1,200 kilometres. The idea behind the challenge was that each team member sets an individual goal of moving 60 kilometres to honour the 60 men we lose each hour of every day to mental and physical health.

Incredibly, Team Jansen ultimately moved more than 4,080 kilometres, which is roughly the distance to walk coast to coast from Vancouver to Toronto! Beyond this, a silent auction, shave-off, chili cook-off and exclusive merchandise brought in funds and started important conversations.

Once again this year, the highlight of the MOvember calendar for Team Jansen was the 5th Annual MOvember Hockey Classic, which was held at the LeRoy Community Centre.

Congratulations and thank you to Team Jansen for making their mark on MOvember and supporting men’s health.
