It is with deep regret that we confirm that one of our employees was fatally injured at Escondida in Chile on Wednesday 23 September, local time.

We extend our sincere condolences to their family and loved ones during this very difficult time.

We are providing our full support to those affected by this tragedy, and working closely with the relevant local and national authorities in Chile.
