Experience:

Jad became BHP’s Chief People Officer and a member of the Executive Leadership Team on 1 July 2022.  As CPO Jad is responsible for delivering innovative people and culture strategies, programs and policies to support the employment and development of BHP’s employees globally and ensuring the company has the right people and capabilities to deliver its strategy. 

With over 25 years' experience in the manufacturing and resources sectors, Jad is a strategic leader with deep expertise in all facets of human resources and a strong track record of execution. She is recognised for her collaborative approach in working with stakeholders to deliver ambitious outcomes.  She started her career with the Ford Motor Company and moved to BHP in 2000, where she worked in a wide variety of operational and corporate roles.  In 2016 she moved to Orica, a global leader in mining and blasting services, as VPHR for their Australia, Pacific and Asia business.
