Macedon at a glance

Our Petroleum Unit operates the Macedon Gas Plant, which processes approximately 200 terrajoules of natural gas per day. The operation involves offshore production of gas via four subsea wells and associated subsea field infrastructure, with gas piped onshore to a processing plant located 17 kilometres south-west of Onslow. After processing, gas is delivered via pipeline and sold to the Western Australian domestic market through the Dampier to Bunbury natural gas pipeline. It is expected Macedon will supply domestic gas for the wholesale market in Western Australia until at least 2033.
2013 First gas commenced on target in 2013.
2033 Macedon is expected to supply domestic gas for WA until at least 2033.
$1.5bn Macedon is a $1.5 billion project.

Petroleum

Oil and gas extracted from petroleum is refined into different types of energy fuels and materials used in everyday products.

My time at Macedon has shown me how diverse the instrument and electrical field really is.
