What is an Enterprise Agreement?
An Enterprise Agreement (EA) is a legal document that outlines the minimum terms and conditions for a group of employees. It won’t change our way of working, it will simply add some terms to your employment contract.
Enterprise Agreements set the minimum standards – but your pay and benefits go well beyond those minimums. They’re covered in your individual BHP employment contract and supported by our policies.
The EA is an agreement between you and BHP. Unions play a role by representing employees who are members or eligible to join.
What does this mean for me?
You can’t opt out of an EA - whether you vote or not - so make sure you have your say.
We need to ensure our teams are given the opportunity to provide feedback on the updated EA before we can consider progressing to a vote.
