The BHP Foundation works to improve long-term economic, social and environmental sustainability at a national level through Country Programs in Australia, Canada, Chile and the United States. These complement the work of the Foundation’s Global Programs. 

In Australia, our innovative partnerships are designed to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and organisations in their drive towards effective governance and self-determination; and aid the development of young people through initiatives related to early childhood, education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and mental health and well-being.
