We are honoured to share our FY25 Australian Indigenous Social Investment Report.
This report reflects BHP’s ongoing journey of learning and partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. We are sincerely thankful to work alongside organisations whose strength, leadership and deep connection to community continue to guide and shape outcomes that are meaningful, lasting, and led by Indigenous voices.
The work captured in this report is the result of genuine collaboration, trust, and shared purpose. We are especially thankful for the opportunity to come together at the second annual Indigenous Social Investment Partner Symposium, where we listened, reflected, and strengthened our collective commitment to intergenerational change.
The Symposium is a strong example of genuine collaboration and the energy and enthusiasm in the room this year was profound. The two days provided a valuable opportunity to pause, reflect, and explore new and developing practices. It allowed us to engage deeply with partners, challenge our thinking, and strengthen our shared commitment to building strategic, long-lasting relationships that seek to deliver intergenerational benefit.
These partnerships are central to BHP’s approach to social value and sustainability. They challenge us to think differently, act respectfully, and invest in ways that align with the aspirations of Indigenous communities. We extend our heartfelt thanks to every partner organisation and individual who contributed to this work in FY25.
Together, we are making a difference – and we look forward to continuing this important journey in FY26 and beyond.
