In line with our commitment to the International Council of Mining and Metals Sustainable Development Framework, we facilitate and encourage responsible design, use, reuse, recycling and disposal of our products throughout our value chain. We engage in product stewardship initiatives, including the Steel Stewardship Forum, the European Copper Institute and the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association.

As a member of the World Nuclear Association (WNA), we undertake a range of activities to support the safe and peaceful use of nuclear technology and promote sustainable development for the industry. These activities include participating in national and international stewardship programs and allowing our customers to audit our HSEC activities in line with the WNA Sustainability Checklist.

The transportation of uranium products is overseen by the Australian Government through the Australian Safeguards and Non-Proliferation Office.

Where possible, we work with those involved in the life cycles of our products to improve environmental performance throughout the value chain and to promote the responsible use of our products. This includes conducting research to support energy-efficient and productive utilisation of our products and sharing the outputs of the research, technical collaborations and publications.
